Ray Pierson is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has been playing guitar for over 42 years, starting at a very young age. Ray is the full-time lead guitarist for the Philadelphia-based band, Split Decision, for over 20 years now. Since 1998, Split Decision has consistently played over 150 shows each year, quickly becoming one of the most sought after groups in the tri-state area. They continue to tour up and down the East Coast from Vermont to Florida, and as far West as the Milwaukee, WI. In the Summer months, Split Decision, mostly calls the shore points between New York and Virginia home. In addition to performing with the band, Ray is a session guitarist in the Philadelphia area.
