Known for his groundbreaking work with Megadeth, King Diamond, and his current band Withering Scorn, Drover’s dynamic playing and dedication to his craft have solidified his status as a metal icon.

Glen’s journey through the metal world is nothing short of inspiring. From co-founding the Canadian metal band Eidolon to his pivotal contributions during his tenure with Megadeth—where he played on the critically acclaimed United Abominations album—Drover has consistently pushed the boundaries of heavy music. Today, as the lead guitarist for Withering Scorn, Glen continues to captivate audiences with his technical prowess and innovative style.

Withering Scorn’s debut album, Prophets of Demise, released in July 2023 under Frontiers Records, has received widespread acclaim for its powerful songwriting and exceptional production. The band is already working on their second album and is set to embark on the European metal circuit in summer 2025, further cementing their presence in the global metal scene.
