New for 2017, GHS Strings is proud to release Balanced Nickels strings for bass, a combination of traditional string materials with modern string designs and concepts. As Jon Moody (Manager of Digital Brand Development and Product Development) states, "We've taken the idea of balance a little farther than most." With Balanced Nickels strings, each of the strings on a 4 string set are constructed using the same number of wraps. This creates a set of strings that is tonally balanced up/down the fretboard as well as from string to string. Also sporting "balanced tension" in the string sets, Balanced Nickels strings are now available for 4 string bass, 5 string bass as well as short scale.
