On Thursday, September 7th, GHS Artist Stu Hamm will hold a bass guitar workshop at the famous Elderly Instruments in Lansing, MI!
Stuart Hamm is an innovative pioneer among bassists of the past half-century, widely recognized for his groundbreaking work as a solo artist and contributions as a sideman to Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. Stu's non-traditional interpretation of the electric bass (previously revolutionized by Jaco Pastorius and Stanley Clarke in the 1970s) has helped to reshape the modern concept of the bass guitar as an unaccompanied instrument.
During the 90-minute clinic, Stu will talk about his storied career and perform music from both his solo catalog and his many collaborative efforts. Stu will ALSO be available for private lessons earlier in the day, but availability is limited - register now!
