I just love rollerwound pure nickel GHS strings. I have preferred GHS strings since the late 70s, and used Boomers 10-46 primarily in my younger days. Since 2005 I changed over to Nickel Rockers and have made custom sets for my guitars, very similar to what you have here for your wound 3rd sets.... I found these sets to be perfectly balanced on my fretboards: for 24 & 3/4 inch scale guitars I use 010.5, 013.5, n18, n28, n38, n48. For 25.5 inch scale guitars I use: 010.5, 013.5, n20, n30, n40, n50. For 20 years these have been my default guitar strings... I keep trying other things as they come out... but I'm always back to these.... a very cool vintage vibe that is still bright and strings that feel wonderful for every move on the fretboard. Works well across guitar brands.... I use them on Gibsons, Fenders, Rickenbackers, Gretsch, Heritage, Washburn, Epiphone, and Line6 guitars. For 20 years it has been worth it to me to pay a bit more to construct my own fit... :-)
