SETS - BURNISHED NICKEL ROCKERS™

GHS Burnished Nickel Rockers™ carry on the proud tradition started in 1964 with Nickel Rockers™. Roundwound pure nickel cover wire is wound over a hex core, and then lightly polished for a slick feel. The result is the pure nickel warmth and clarity, with the ability to easily glide over the fretboard.

Love these guitar strings! I am using them on a Fender Acoustastonic Jazzmaster and it has the perfect sound and comfortability, 011-050 - I really feel it brings the best out of this guitar. When I first tried this guitar at the store it comes with an acoustic guitar strings, but its not comfortable to play solos, switching to these electric guitar strings I still get the acoustic sounds as well as the electric comfortability. (You can also mix the 3 first with electric strings and the 3 top with acoustic, gives you even more bottom edge but not as comfortable but definitely better then the acoustic that comes with).

Maybe a 9.5 set?  I love the feel of 10’s playing chords but I do a lot of bends.
I just fall a little flat trying to get a full step bend with vibrato. Don’t have quite the hand strength. 9’s over all are a bit too light. 9.5 is a good inbetween.

Would y'all ever do a 7string set ???

Jonathan Moody

Hey Chris, it's certainly possible. We haven't gotten a lot of requests for a 7st set in the Burnished Nickels, but we could always look into it.

Will you ever make a 11-54 set? I love the burnished nickel strings but I always feel the need to have that beefy low end as these strings are amazing

Jonathan Moody

Hi Charlie, it's something we can look into, sure. There have been a couple others like yourself that would like a heavier option for the low string. However, I can't guarantee any timeline when this may happen.

Love these strings! Any possibility of a .009-.046 set offered in the future? Thanks!

Jonathan Moody

Hey Frank, it's always a possibility, but we haven't received very many requests for a BNR-CL set. The singles are readily available, so if you wanted you could order it that way.
