Nickel-plated steel wound over a round core brings a bright tone with a powerful attack, that lasts for an extended period of time. Each string is individually sealed in the GHS Nitro-Pack envelope (with our Anti-Corrosion Guarantee), ensuring they're as fresh as the day we wound them at our factory in Battle Creek, MI.
Modern guitarists are tuning lower and lower, adding more strings for a broader tonal spectrum. Designed with the help of many “extended range” guitarists and featuring tapered ends on our larger (post .070) gauges, our 8-String Boomers™ sets bring what you love about our 6 string sets into lower, uncharted territory!
