Background: Where have all of our Guitar Heroes gone? Thriving National Artist that visually and sonically digs deep, using the stage as a form of transcendence and meditative space. That is the James Pace Band in one sentence since their inception in Asbury Park NJ in 1996. The Asbury lore is true and the magic was in the water for creativity and the freedom to build the sonic vocabulary in American Roots Music - Blues, Soul, Funk and old school Rock and Roll with attitude.
Recent Award: In the summer of 2022 the James Pace Band was awarded as a Top 5 Qualifier candidate for Audacy (formally Radio.com) "Opening Act" to perform at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, October 2022.
Quotes:
Brian Lush - Rockwired.com
If their latest single - the rhythmic HENDRIX-styled rocker - TOUCH THE SKY is any indication, this is a band with a message of love and an electric vibe that can lift spirits and expectations for what modern rock music has to offer. TOUCH THE SKY is an anthem that will perk ears with more waiting in the wings.
Scott Hopkins - Music Fest News.com
The James Pace Band has been going strong since the ’90s, hailing from Asbury Park and with just the right amount of heart-pounding guitar-driven rock n’ roll act with plenty of blues, funk, and soul mixed in.
Whats Next: New album the "Sierra Madre Sessions" due out late Fall with guest members, bassist Johnny Griparic (Slash Snakepit, Walter Trout), drummer Mike Leasure (Edgar Winter), vocalist Peggi Blu (Bob Dylan) and Mark Brown on B3.
